In 2023, China became the second most populous country in the world (swapping places with India). China maintains the largest economy, and remains the world’s largest exporter and trading nation[1]. One major celebration is the work of the Holy Spirit rapidly growing the body of Christ in China to around 100 million believers[2]! China remains a restricted nation for the gospel of Jesus Christ, and in 2018 the government passed new religious regulations which increased government restrictions on unregistered churches[3]. The territory known as Kashmir located just to the north of India is a highly contested territory between India and China[4]. Additionally, we will lift up the refugee population, those being trafficked, and the production and transit of illegal drugs in China. Let’s Pray…

-Father, we thank you for the work of the Holy Spirit in China. We pray that you would continue to release your fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control onto your people throughout China. Let the display of these fruits upon your people be an incredible witness for your kingdom. God, help this nation train children in the way they should go, so that when they are old they will not turn from it. Help Christian families be in community with others and raise up transformational leaders for your kingdom Jesus.* 

-God, we enter into the spiritual war between your church communities and the enemy of God. Father, we pray for an increased angelic presence in your church communities. We lift up all the believers in China and we pray for divine encounters with you Jesus. Jesus, help them to know you with all their heart, soul, and strength.** Help them to carry the gospel to the ends of China and the ends of the earth. Father, we pray for extraordinary boldness over your believers to continue to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. We pray for a continued blessing over their economy as they choose to walk in faith with you Jesus.

-God, we lift up the sick, the diseased, the disabled, and the oppressed in China. We pray for your grace to bring healing to millions through the name of Jesus Christ. We pray for smoking addictions to cease in the name of Jesus. We pray for increased resources and care for the disabled in China. Father, we pray that you would defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; that you would maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Father rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked and the oppressive.  Amen.*** 

-God, we lift up the land of Kashmir to you and pray for peaceful resolutions between India and China. We pray that you Holy Spirit would guide their conversations and they would refrain from bloodshed.  

-God, we lift up the refugee population to you and ask for all their physical and spiritual needs to be met. We pray for your grace to help them live in safe communities. Help them to be treated fairly and attain successful jobs. We also pray that you would heal any trauma from their past and help them to receive you Jesus as Lord and Savior. 

-We pray over the drug production and trafficking in China. Holy Spirit, we pray that you would convict drug traffickers and producers of guilt in regard to sin, righteousness, and judgment.**** Help them to turn from their ways and to seek out righteousness. We pray for physical, emotional, and mental healing for drug users through the mighty and perfect name of Jesus Christ.

-Father, we lift up the Spratly and Paracel Islands to you. We pray for peace amongst other nations who claim this territory as their own. We pray for all the life on and around the islands from vegetation to mammals to sea creatures. We pray a blessing over your creation on these islands, and pray that they would glorify their creator.    

-Father, we lift up the trafficked population to you. Jesus, have mercy on these women, children, and men. We pray for freedom for these individuals including physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual freedom. Jesus, help your captives find peace and truth in you alone. We pray conviction over those trafficking others to hear your voice of truth and to repent from their sins. Father, let your will and the name of your son Jesus Christ rule in China. Amen.
