The Central African Republic (CAR) shares a border with six other nations. This opens the nation up to much diversity, including various languages and various ethnic groups. In the CAR, animistic beliefs[1] & practices strongly influence the Christian majority[2]. The CAR’s environment has also been impacted by an increased presence of poachers[3] (one who steals or kills plants and/or animals illegally).  CAR is also a source, transit, and destination country for men, women, and children who are trafficked for the purpose of sexual exploitation and forced labor[4]. We serve a God whose powers are immeasurable, and can completely end human trafficking. Let’s tap into the power of God to intercede on behalf of His children in the CAR. 

-Elohim, our Father in Heaven. We lift up those trafficked in the CAR. Lord Jesus, set your captives free! You have died for their freedom, so whom the son sets free is free indeed. Lord Jesus, we pray that you would defend the cause of the weak and fatherless; that you would maintain the rights of the poor and oppressed. Father, rescue the weak and needy; deliver them from the hand of the wicked.* Bring millions to repentance in your name Jesus that they may hold onto the gift of eternal life.

-Lord Jesus, we pray for unity within your body in the CAR. We pray that you would pour out your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control upon your Christian leaders and disciples. Help them to do your work in this nation Jesus. Help millions come to have a personal relationship with you Jesus where they seek to love you with all their heart, soul, and strength.**   

-Jesus, we know that where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. Let your Spirit dwell in the CAR, and that your people may repent from their sins through the blood of Jesus Christ. God, help your people take captive of every thought and make it obedient to Christ.  We pray for false religions and ideologies to be placed under the light of Christ so scales would fall off eyes and people would be free from the lies of the enemy & washed in the blood of Jesus Christ. 

-Father, we also pray for the protection of your precious creation. Protect your animals and land in the CAR, so your beautiful creation can continue to reflect your glory.

-God, we pray for the refugees from the DRC and the internally displaced persons and families in the CAR. God we lift up the refugees and ask for your Christian to surround them in love, and to help meet their every needs. We also pray for the IDP’s and we ask father for the provision of food, shelter and clothing. Thank you God.
