In Burkina Faso, approximately 60% of this nation is Muslim (10.1 million), along with another 7% identifying with the beliefs of Animism (1.3 million)[1]. Burkina Faso lacks clean water and clean sanitation facilities in many areas, while 26% of the children under 5 are underweight[2]. 90% of the population works in agriculture, and 47% of the population live in poverty[3]. Finally, Burkina Faso is a source, destination, and transit country for women and children trafficked for the purposes of forced labor and sex trafficking[4]. Let’s Pray…

-God we ask for you to pour out your spirit on all people in Burkina Faso, that their sons and daughters would prophecy, that their old men would dream dreams, and their young men would see visions.* We pray that Muslims, animists, atheists, and anyone else who does not know that Jesus is Lord to receive your mercy through dreams, visions, and prophecy that you Jesus are Savior of the earth! Father, we pray for your grace in helping the lost claim salvation through the blood of Jesus Christ. 

-God equip your believers with the armor of God and release your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control upon them so they may do your will to the best of their ability.** We pray for the protection of your believers and that you God would take care of them.  Let your will alone be done God! 

-We lift up your poor God, and pray for those who are poor in the eyes of this world to be rich in faith and inherit the kingdom that you God promised to those who love you.*** Lord Jesus, we pray for the provision of food, clean water, shelter, education, and clean sanitation facilities for the people of this nation. Let your love Jesus fill up each home in Burkina Faso. Save millions of souls in this nation Jesus! 

-God, help this nation train children in the way they should go, so that when they are old they will not turn from it.**** Let them learn the Holy Bible at a young age so that millions can turn their hearts to Christ. Empower your missionaries to do great works for your kingdom Jesus! 

-We pray for a blessing over their agriculture, and that they would give praise to you God, the “I AM”.

-God, we pray over the refugees from Mali living in Burkina Faso. We pray that you Lord would go with them and help them to be treated with love, dignity, and respect. We pray that your followers would provide for their needs and teach them about you Yeshua. 

-God, we ask for angelic assignments to be placed over each trafficking victim or potential victim in Burkina Faso. Yeshua, we pray for your divine protection over each individual. God, we ask for a release for these victims in Burkina Faso. We pray that you would set free the oppressed in this nation. We press forward in your grace and ask for mental, emotional, and physical healing over the captives through the blood of your son Yeshua. We ask that the captive would hear your word and accept your saving grace Jesus. Help the victims enter into healing and life breathing communities. Holy Spirit, we ask that you would convict the guilty of their sins and lead them to repentance, salvation, and the plans you have for them.
