Bulgaria

Within the last three decades, Bulgaria has been seeking its own national identity, which had been previously shaped by the Turks and Soviets dating back to the late 14th century[1]. Bulgaria’s has boosted their economy through many reforms yet remains heavily dependent on Russia for energy imports[2]. Currently, Bulgaria is home to many Syrian refugees. Additionally, Bulgaria is a source, transit, and destination country for men, women, and children trafficked for the purposes of commercial sexual exploitation and forced labor[3]. Let’s Pray…

-Father, we lift up Bulgaria to your courts in Heaven. We pray for your Holy Spirit to overflow on this nation. May the women and men be baptized in your Holy Spirit and rest in your loving arms. Help the churches press their congregants into a deeper relationship with you Jesus. Jesus, we pray that you would help your church become the beautiful bride you deserve. God, we pray for each follower to seek to love you with all their heart, soul, and strength.*

-Father, we pray for Godly governmental leaders to step into their calling and purpose for their lives. Use them for your will and glory. May they lead this nation in holiness and righteousness. We pray for the economy in Bulgaria and ask for a blessing over the economy as they press forward with your will and as they honor you God in their actions and governmental proceedings. We pray for a strengthening of the judicial branch, a cleansing from corrupt public administration, and for a strategic process in dismantling organized crime to be executed. Thank you Jesus.

-Father, we lift up the Syrian refugees and those in need. Father, we pray your blessing over these individuals and pray for sufficiency in food, water, shelter, clothing, education, and clean sanitation facilities. We pray for strong communities to become stronger with the care of refugee and stateless persons. Thank you God.

-God, we ask for angelic assignments to be placed over each trafficking victim or potential victim in Bulgaria. Yeshua, we pray for your divine protection over each individual. God, we ask for a release for these victims in Bulgaria. We pray that you would set free the oppressed in this nation. We press forward in your grace and ask for mental, emotional, and physical healing over the captives through the blood of your son Yeshua. We ask that the captive would hear your word and accept your saving grace Jesus. Help the victims enter into healing and life breathing communities. Holy Spirit, we ask that you would convict the guilty of their sins and lead them to repentance, salvation, and the plans you have for them.

-Father, we lift up the ports of this nation and pray that they would be closed off to drug trafficking. We pray that these individuals would be held accountable for their actions, and for repentance to take place in the hearts of these individuals.  Amen.
