The nation of Botswana has embraced more than four decades of uninterrupted civilian leadership since its independence in 1966[1]. The economy is centered on diamond mining yet due to the countries conservation practices, tourism is on the rise[2]. While 25% of the population suffers from HIV/AIDS, their nation has one of Africa’s most comprehensive and progressive programs for dealing with the disease[3]. Finally, let us lift up the trafficking situation in Botswana, as this nation is a source, transit, and destination country for women and children trafficked for the purposes of sex trafficking or forced labor[4]. We pray for…     

-You God to move in mighty ways through the nation of Botswana. Lord Jesus, we pray for Christians to love you with all their heart, all their soul, and all their strength. Help all Christians recognize that their body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in them, who is from God. Help your believers to know they were purchased at a priceless cost, therefore, help them to glorify you God through their body and in their spirit, which are yours God.*      

-You Lord Jesus to help those with the HIV/AIDS disease to trust in the healing powers of the one who created their bodies. Help them to seek healing through the power of the Holy Spirit. Lord Jesus, we pray that you would send your angels to administer healing to your sick, to those with HIV/AIDS, and to those who suffer from mental illnesses. Holy Spirit, we pray that you would move in powerful ways and transform the way people think about you God. Pour out your blessings upon those who trust in the name of the Lord! Make others desire that same relationship and help them seek you out King Jesus! 

-You God to raise the poor from the dust and lift the needy from the ash heap; we know that you seat them with princes and have them inherit a throne of honor.** Help them to glorify you Lord Jesus and be with the king of kings where they are. Help them to utilize the talents you have given them for the kingdom of God! 

-Angelic assignments to be placed over each trafficking victim or potential victim in Botswana. Yeshua, we pray for your divine protection over each individual. God, we ask for a release for these victims in Botswana. We pray that you would set free the oppressed in this nation. We press forward in your grace and ask for mental, emotional, and physical healing over the captives through the blood of your son Yeshua. We ask that the captive would hear your word and accept your saving grace Jesus. Help the victims enter into healing and life breathing communities. Holy Spirit, we ask that you would convict the guilty of their sins and lead them to repentance, salvation, and the plans you have for them.
