Bhutan

The nation of Bhutan is located within the southern central region of Asia, sandwiched between China and India. The religions of this nation are primarily Buddhist (75%) and Hindu (22%)[1]. The economy of Bhutan is largely based on hydropower, agriculture, and forestry[2]. While Bhutan has passed a freedom of religion in their new constitution, most Christians must practice their faith in secret to avoid persecution[3]. Let’s Pray…

-God, we thank you for the work of the Holy Spirit flowing through Bhutan and for how you are transforming this nation. Father, we pray over the economy of Bhutan. We pray for a spiritual blessing over the agricultural, industrial, and service sectors within this nation. We pray that an economic blessing would be unlocked as this nation continues to place their trust in you Elohim.  Help them to fully intake the greatness of who you are God. Father, we pray for salvation to break out in the nation of Bhutan, and we pray for over 100,000 to accept you Jesus as Lord and Savior and for them to seek to love you God with all their heart, soul, and strength.*

-God, we lift up the missions agencies within Bhutan and the bordering agencies within Nepal and India. We pray a blessing of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self- control to fill these organizations.** Help them to do your will and remain fully aligned to your Holy Spirit. We pray a blessing over every school and ask for angelic protection against the hands of the enemy. Let your ministers be trained and sent forth to preach the word and share your gospel in their communities.

-Father, we pray over our persecuted sisters and brothers in Bhutan. Jesus, we pray for your hand of provision in every area of their lives. We pray for you Holy Spirit to overcome every attack of the enemy. Jesus, let nothing hinder your children from coming to you and embracing salvation. Jesus, help them to walk in the favor and grace of our Lord Jesus. Help them to be successful at everything they put their hand to. Thank you Jesus.

-Father, we pray against human trafficking in Bhutan. Jesus, we pray for freedom for the captives and conviction for the guilty. Let your word be like fire, my Lord, and like a hammer that breaks a rock in pieces.*** For those guilty of enslaving the captives, may they repent or we ask that they be judged. Let your justice be released upon the trafficked population and we pray for physical and emotional healing over these individuals.

-Finally, we pray for peaceful boundary conversations between China and Bhutan. Thank you Lord Jesus. Amen.
