In recent years, Belgium has seen a political divide between the Dutch speaking Flemish of the North and the French speaking Walloons of the South[1]. While Belgium has a well-diversified economy, they are entirely reliant on foreign sources of fossil fuels[2]. Currently, this nation serves as home to a large Syrian refugee population and stateless population[3]. Belgium is also a destination and transit country for men, women, and girls trafficked for the purposes of forced labor and commercial sexual exploitation[4]. Let’s Pray…

-Father, we thank you for the evangelical movement in Belgium. We pray that your Holy Spirit led people would be overflowing with the fruits of the Holy Spirit. We pray that you God would overflow in them your fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.* 

-God we lift up the Catholic Church in Belgium. We pray for a wave of the Holy Spirit to revive the congregants in the parish and lead your people to love you with all their heart, all their soul, and all their strength.** Thank you Lord Jesus. 

-Father, we pray for peace between the Flemish and the Walloons. We pray that they would find unity in the name above all other names, Jesus Christ. Father, we pray a blessing over the economy of Belgium as they place their trust in you. Thank you Lord Jesus.   

-Yeshua, we pray that you would shut down the human trafficking business in Belgium. We pray for an angelic presence over the borders of this nation guiding the incoming victims towards a safe home and safe community. We pray for salvation to come to the oppressed and poor in Belgium. We pray for healing, restoration, and freedom over those held captive. We ask for conviction to fall upon the guilty, and we pray your grace would lead them to repentance, salvation, and restoration. Let your mercy rest on this nation my Lord. Amen.

-God we pray over the refugee and stateless persons in Belgium. We pray for the provision of food, water, education, clothing, shelter, and clean sanitation facilities for these individuals. We pray that your church would spread their wings over this community. Thank you God. 

-Father, we pray against the production of drugs in Belgium and against drug trafficking. May you turn the guilty hearts towards repentance, and for drugs production/trafficking to come to an end in Belgium. We pray for drug addicts to be freed from their bondage through the name of Yeshua HaMashiach-Jesus Christ, Amen.
