Belarus
In 1991, Belarus became an independent nation from the USSR. In 1994, it elected its first president; who has gradually consolidated his power to reflect the likes of a dictatorship. In Belarus, there are government restrictions on freedom of speech and the press, peaceful assembly, and religion[1]. The economy is heavily dependent on Russian oil and energy and partnerships between the two nations heavily dictate the success of the economy in Belarus. Additionally, lets pray for the Ukrainian refugees and the population of stateless persons in Belarus. Finally, Belarus is a source, transit, and destination country for women, men, and children trafficked for the purposes of commercial sexual exploitation and forced labor[2]. Let’s pray…
-God, we thank you for the work of the Holy Spirit in Belarus. We pray that your gospel would penetrate the hearts and minds of your people that they may live for you with all their heart, all their soul, and all their strength. We pray for your bride in Belarus, and that you Christ would pave a safe passage for your bride in this nation. Help them to continue to accomplish your works and your will for this nation. Father, help believers be filled to overflowing with your fruits of love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.*
-Father, we lift up the leadership of this nation, and we pray for Godly women and men to lead this nation in your ways and in your truth. May your gospel be freed from the bonds which restrict it. We pray for the leadership in Belarus to encounter you, Yeshua HaMashiach, and for leadership to fear our holy and mighty king of kings.
-Father, we lift up the families that remain impacted by the Chernobyl disaster. We pray for healing over the bodies and bloodlines who need healing. We pray for an anointing of your grace and peace to help these families know you Yeshua, and receive your perfect healing touch. Yeshua, we pray that every individual who has been impacted by this radiation to be healed in your name Yeshua. Thank you Jesus.
-We lift up the international disputes between Latvia, Lithuania, and Belarus. We pray for peace. We also pray for international partnerships that reflect your kingdom purposes.
-Father, we pray over the Ukrainian refugees and the stateless persons in Belarus. Father, we pray for the provision of food, water, shelter, clothing, education, and clean sanitation facilities. We pray for your body to surround these communities Jesus and to uplift and protect them. Thank you God.
-Yeshua, we pray that you would shut down the human trafficking business in Belarus. We pray for an angelic presence over the borders of this nation guiding the incoming victims towards a safe home and safe community. We pray for salvation to come to the oppressed and poor. We pray for healing, restoration, and freedom over those held captive. We ask for conviction to fall upon the guilty, and we pray your grace would lead them to repentance, salvation, and restoration. Thank you Jesus!
-Father, we lift up the drug production and trafficking within these borders. We pray for conviction for the guilty parties to turn from their ways and seek your face. Let the sins of drugs have no stronghold in Belarus. Amen.
