Bahrain

The economy in Bahrain is comprised primarily of oil exports (86%), yet lower oil prices has resulted in a major budget deficit[1]. The body of Christ is growing in Bahrain despite conversions from Islam to Christianity being illegal[2] with potential punishments of prison or beatings. Yet as we intercede for this nation, the Holy Spirit will have its way on the hearts of the lost towards salvation. One central prayer request is that Bahrain is a destination country for the trafficking of men and women subjected to forced labor and sex trafficking[3]. Let’s Pray…

-God, we lift up your bride in Bahrain. Jesus, take this nation by the hand and lead them into your redemption and the plans you have for their nation in the Middle East. Just as your disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit on Pentecost, we pray for this same infilling of the Holy Spirit upon your Bahrainis in this nation. Let your Holy Spirit be poured out from Heaven onto each household, and may your gift of tongues rest upon the souls of each believer.* Lead your bride in safety and strength. Holy Spirit, infill them with your fruits and cover them with your armor. Help them to walk with you Holy Spirit.

-Father, we pray a blessing over their economy and ask for wisdom over their leaders in developing the sectors of aluminum production, finance, construction, and tourism.

-Yeshua, we pray over the victims of human trafficking in Bahrain. God, we pray for angelic protection over each victim and potential victim in this nation. We pray that the fear of the Lord would rest upon these victims, and that your blood Yeshua would shatter their bondage and release freedom. We pray for emotional, mental, and physical healing over the captives. We ask for conviction to fall upon the guilty, and we pray your grace would lead them to repentance, salvation, and restoration.

-Father, we lift up those who do not know you in Bahrain. Yeshua HaMashiach, please remove the blinders off the eyes of the lost, that they might see the Son of God in His glory now. Help them come to the understanding that you Jesus Christ are God, and your blood alone is our salvation. We pray that you God would pour out your spirit on all people in Bahrain, that their sons and daughters would prophecy, that their old men would dream dreams, and their young men would see visions.** Jesus, we pray for the Muslim believers to know the name of Yahweh, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit. Amen.
