Bahamas

The Bahamas are a string of 700 small islands stretching from Florida to Cuba. The Bahamas are one of the wealthiest Caribbean countries due to tourism and offshore banking[1]. One major prayer point is that The Bahamas are a destination, source, and transit country for men, women, and children subjected to forced labor and sex trafficking[2]. The islands also serve as a transshipment point for cocaine and marijuana bound for the US & Europe[3]. Let’s make war against the kingdom of darkness in the Bahamas! Pray for…

-God’s people to seek to love the lord our God with all their heart, soul, and strength.*

-The Holy Spirit to bind all criminal activity in this nation. Holy Spirit, we pray for justice to be secured for the poor and that you would uphold the cause of the needy.** Holy Spirit, we pray for unity in your church.

-Your people to shine Christ’s light upon the visitors of this nation.

-Christian communities to grow in their love for each other and the lost.

-Your Holy Spirit to overflow upon the captives in the Bahamas. Lord Jesus, break the chains from the captive in this nation. Let your blood cover them. Let those whom the son sets free be free indeed. Father, restore their mental and physical health through the power of your blood Jesus. We also pray for the unrighteous in this industry. Let the scales fall from their eyes, so they might repent through the grace of the son Jesus and walk in the plans that you have for them.

-The ports on the Bahamas to be the holy territory of the Lord. We pray for a stationing of your angels amongst the ports of this nation.  Let no drugs or evil purposes be docked on these ports, for they are the Lord’s. Jesus, claim these areas as your own, and convict the guilty towards repentance and salvation. Thank you Jesus for loving us in our sins & cleansing us from all sins through your blood. Amen.
