Armenia

Armenia is the first nation in the world to incorporate Christianity as their state religion (301 a.d.) and they remain a Christian nation this day. Armenia has endured a border battle with Azerbaijan for the last two decades over the land Nagorno-Karabakh. The economy of Armenia is heavily dependent on Russian commercial and governmental support[1]. Currently, 18% of the population is unemployed and 32% of the population live in poverty[2]. Finally, let us pray for the women and girls in Armenia who are being trafficked to the UAE and Turkey for the purposes of sexual exploitation[3]. Let’s Pray

-God, we lift up Armenia to you. Jesus, we pray that you would lead this nation with your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. We pray for your angelic guards to be posted on the borders protecting this nation from their enemies. Let each Christian stand firm and be equipped with the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, for their feet to be fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace, for their shield of faith, their helmet of salvation, and their sword of the spirit-the word of God. Finally, let these believers pray in the Holy Spirit on all occasions.*

-Father, we lift up the poor in Armenia. Jehovah-Jireh, we pray for the provision of food, water, clothing, shelter, education, and clean sanitation facilities for your people. We pray for your Word to renew your Armenians daily. God, let your people place you like a seal over their heart, like a seal on their arm, for your love is as strong as death, its jealousy unyielding as the grave. Let your love burn like a blazing fire, like a mighty flame in each heart this day.**

-Yeshua, we lift up the victims of human trafficking in Armenia. God, we pray for angelic protection over each victim and potential victim in this nation. We pray that the fear of the Lord would rest upon these victims, and that your blood Yeshua would shatter their bondage and release freedom. We pray for emotional, mental, and physical healing over the captives. We ask for conviction to fall upon the guilty, and we pray your grace would lead them to repentance, salvation, and restoration.

-We pray for peace over Armenia and their relationship with Azerbaijan and Turkey. Yeshua, we pray that you would speak to all the leadership and you would lead them in their conversations over the territory until they come to a peaceful resolution. Thank you Yeshua!

-Father, we pray for the refugees, the internally displaced population, and the stateless persons in Armenia. Father, we ask for your compassion, grace, and favor over this population and that they would have all their needs met. We pray for stability over their living situations and we pray for strong Christian community to support these people groups. Thank you Jesus!

-We pray over the borders of Armenia and that no drugs would come through this nation. Let this nation be blameless in the sins that plague your creation Jesus. Let conviction and repentance fall upon the guilty, and let the enemy’s weapon of drugs be destroyed in the name of Yeshua HaMashiach, Amen.
