Angola

Angola has suffered from 40 years of war (1962-2002), with 90% of the casualties being civilians[1]. Angola is also a country of origin for women and children trafficked internally for the purposes of domestic servitude and young men trafficked for the purpose of agricultural forced labor[2]. Angola’s ports are also used for trafficking cocaine to European & African countries. We pray for…

-The Holy Spirit to move in mighty ways through the streets of Angola. Lord Jesus, continue to help your Angolans recover from the mental and physical wounds of war. Father, baptize your people in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Wash them in your blood and remind them that the great counselor can heal any wounds.

-The poor in Angola. Lord Jesus let your mercy fall upon your children. We pray that you God would secure justice for the poor and uphold the cause of the needy.* God, we pray for the poor and we ask for the provision of food, clean water, clothing, education, and shelter. Thank you Jesus.

-An end to human trafficking in Angola. Lord Jesus, reveal yourself to those guilty of being affiliated with this industry and lead them to repentance. Father, we pray through the blood of Jesus Christ to free your captives. Lead these individuals to a relationship where they seek to love you God with all their heart, soul, and strength.**

-Your Christians in Angola to be renewed by the Holy Spirit daily and for them to seek to love you God with all their heart, all their soul, and all their strength.**  Amen.
